Agreed let's get rid of the subsidies to both renewable's and fossil fuels, let both industries stand on their own two feet, the savings can go towards paying off Australia's debt, so my solar now costs $12000 instead of $8000 does that change my mind about installation, no bloody way, cut off the feed in from home solar to the grid to if you like that will mean in QLD at least the requirement of building two new unsubsidized coal fired or gas power stations, that will add about another 50% to every consumers power bill, by all means lets let coal and gas stand on their own two feet, at least we don't need to put in any more poles and wires and neither will our children.
