At least Warren Truss fronts public forums where people get to ask him questions. Truss had to defend the indefensible and in a democracy deserves our respect for trying to explain Abbott's rotten budget full of broken promises.
In stark contrast and despite his massive security entourage and army of media advisors, Tony Abbott lacks the guts to even talk to university students about the future hell HE has in mind for the poorer among them.
Indeed, Abbott's practice is to jet away overseas to avoid being held to account for his rotten budget full of broken promises, leaving poor bumbling cigar-smoking Joe Hockey to face the music while HE bravely tells Scotland and Russia what to do from his birthplace and nation of worship.
How offensive is it that someone demonstrating such personal gutlessness as Abbott would talk of sending Australian military personnel into the Ukraine battle zone and back into Iraq as if HE is a hero for standing up to big bad Muslims and big bad Vladimir Putin - a PM who won't even risk fronting university students. Now that is truly pathetic!
