Hi Peter,
It is a hard decision. You could buy in now with the hope that over the coming days (possibly weeks - who knows when an announcement will be made) that the SP keeps on rising... during this time you could decide to sell out and make a small profit (rather then wait for an ann to be made which could be bad). You could hang on (like I am) in the hope that we have a positive result (though realistically there are a lot more bad / negative ann of companies announcing dusters then there are positive announcements) or - you could sell now (or soon) in the hope that there is a bad / negative announcement and potentially buy back in at a much lower price...
It all depends on what you think is the most likely scenario - and to be honest, none of us have any idea. We are just guessing.
