long - FET, IAG. GXY, RCG shorts - retailers - MYR, HVN, SUL. MYX
so from two trading days ago I have sold MML & bought RCG both long '''
and with the shorts I have stopped out on MTS and acquired MYX...
I am very happy to have got back into RCG (the athletes foot), one of the best businesses on the market by just about every measure. it will suffer if retailng falls back substantially, and or if the $A falls dramatically, but I will be keeping my eye on that...... to me its very good value at the moment, with a healthy dividend to boot ..
the shorts on some of the retailers are on average now in negative territory by a small amount, while the longs are going gangbusters on average...
IAG put out its full year results which were excellent, so I am hoping for some further gains there also....
while the war goes on in the Ukraine it appears to be mainly contained between the government troops and the separatists rebels, Russian incursions not being given much press......
so the relaxing of world concerns here seems to have released a fresh optimism in the markets....
