News for Today (AEST)
The XJO closed just a little higher on Wednesday,
The Index found some difficulty early on, and spent much of the early session moving between positive and negative territory,
before grinding slowly higher during the afternoon and into the close.
The intraday price action saw a potential shakeout on open,
followed by some easing of supply (selling pressure) over three down waves,
which then allowed it to slowly chug its way into the close.
Spread on Wednesday was fairly average, volume (value traded) was again above average,
which combined with a high close suggests an attempt at challenging the late July high @5644, is almost inevitable.
