See fellas, people do use public telephones. Not everyone in this world especially with any brains surgically implants a mobile to his/ her ear, squandering a quarter of their earnings to look trendy. Some are wiser and use the public facility.
The thing about Telstra's strategy is that they are prepared to take the government's bucks and wire out the bush providing they have critical mass. For that to happen they have to make them incommunicado. Comprende Muchacho??
When thats forced on them, then hey you want a flying doctor, use your mobile, the beer can wait till next pay day as can the lamb flaps, the chocolate cake, the big steals and the poker machine.
Your heart attack attack will costy you more this time around. And if forced to go mobile what moronic business would want to invest in a Pokie? a phone and a mobile pays nothing out but takes it all in and its not for fun. it is a necessity.
