thankyou jakeoo2, checked wdr and noted in the past year sp. has been around 75c,that would correspond with higher spot prices.
lots of similarity on a much smaller scale,BHP and RIO are producing more from mines that owe them nothing ,their profit is up, and a good thing it is with the growing cost of energy, to mine and ship, those old mines might well be uneconomic in a few years.
lots of downrampers at present but i/o of high grade and easily mineable in close proximity to viable proposed transport including an offshore loading fascility only requires the final agreemnets from the state government and finance.
the current drilling is for the banking feasibility study or bfs, everything is in place ,the current sp. is a reflection of lack of approvals and the current spot price.
its possible that large scale i/o miners across the world are working the established mines in the face of rising energy costst fuel etc.
its likely fuel will continue its climb.
in any case i personally remain excited about the year ahead
