Most people here, like you, understand the correlation between market cap, amount of shares and share price.
I don't know if this comes as a surprise to you, but AVQ isn't the only company with 3+ billion shares on offer. For example, SDL is one of those candidates as well. Look at what their market cap is. Not really much happening over there either. 4-5 years until they produce anything. They were a take over target (unfortunately it didn't go through) at 46 cents per share; and that was with 3 billion shares on offer. So, I wouldn't be too hung up on "3 billion shares". MBN recently went out of long trading halt. The share price went nuts and touched 44 cents (a market cap of ~$450 million. Did it make sense? Probably not; that's why the share price is back down to 10-12 cents. Who knows what can happen if we win?! One thing we can probably say for sure; the share price should will likely be higher than 1.8 cents ;-).
