If BCP are phoning around at this stage, my guess is that they have not been overwhelmed by acceptances and maybe getting a little concerned. They would expect to receive a large rump of acceptances by those who slavishly follow the Boards recommendation but hopefully they are underwhelmed thus far. Totally agree that we have been abandoned by the Board and as I have previously suggested, an Independant Expert's Report (IER) on the fairness of the offer would have made interesting reading. Maybe they were worried about what an IER would conclude. In any event, I am holding and looking forward to reading BCP's next Form 604, Change In Substantial Holdings, to get some confirmation as to how fast or slow acceptances are being received by BCP so that we can try to determine what is likely to happen with the offer.
