Rumour has it Calimmune are going to start a Ph 1 HIV trial in Australia this year. They use BLT's ddRNAi technology (gene silencing) under licence and have proof of concept and safety. A valued poster has postulated that they may be going to use some form of anti latency component as an adjunct in order to deal with the issue of getting to reservoirs.

Now this is pure speculation and probably wishful thinking but it fits in with my thoughts about about the work J&J and Calimmune have done together so far. So , yeah, just wondering about BIT225 as an adjunct. Sure would explain the demand and price rise.
