Initially I was under the impression (from TV) that ebola had a short incubation period keeping Australia safe as infected travelers would not make the journey.
From a google search, BBC mentions a 21-day incubation period. This changes the game entirely and presents a very high chance of intercontinental contamination & exponential casualty rates.
