Sure you do. No-one can know everything about everything.
You take it on faith to use electricity, or fly on an aeroplane, or drive a car that someone else built and designed etc etc etc the list goes on and on.
People take all of these things for granted every day, and even people who are very competent on how to use something, rarely knows how that thing REALLY works.
