Some may be wondering why LNG is going to do these presentations around Australia.
My reckoning would be that Maurice wants to touch base with all those Broking houses in the various states and give them the opportunity to question him first hand on whats been happening in the past few months.
They would no doubt be asking Maurice to make himself available in his busy schedule to make some time for a catch up.
My understanding he is still currently overseas at the moment and has been for some time.
So he will effectively be killing two birds with one stone by seeing the various brokers, and then whilst he is there giving shareholders and investors the opportunity to ask questions about LNG's progress.
I guess it gives a rare opportunity for people to meet him face to face, if that's their want.
Personally I would have liked another interview with Alan Kohler to give an update, because quite a bit has happened since the last interview, and I feel an Interview with Alan reaches to a much wider audience.
You get better bang for your buck as they say.
I made the suggestion to LNG last week. Couldn't speak to Maurice himself because he wasn't in Australia.
Maybe some time down the track it may very well happen. Lets hope it does.
What will be interesting at the AGM, will be whether the main players have been increasing their holdings in LNG. A birdy flew past my window yesterday and winked at me to suggest this might be happening.
What I am noticing with the recent trading in LNG is that the buyers are still there buying but they are no longer chasing the stock with the same aggression.
They are waiting for the sellers to come down to the price they are happy to pay at this point in time.
Some might call this accumulation.
Currently their price is anywhere between 3.65 and 3.70.
So if anyone is interested in letting some go, just put your stock on around these levels and I am sure you will be taken sooner rather then later.
They obviously want the stock, but recently they seem to have inherited some patience to acquire it.
Personally, I preferred it when they displayed less patience.
Cheers.
