The only thing that seems to matter for the union-bosses is is this guy an obedient stooge and puppet for the union-bosses that they have enough dirt on to totally control (note the continual labor leaks re Gillard's highly questionable past to keep her obedient and under control)...
and can the union-bosses manipulate his public image enough to dupe enough low-IQ voters (labor;s voting base)
