I would assume once it reaches a price where the KAR team no longer feel the need to play defence, they will shut down the buy back or put it on ice. They are under no obligation to buy any AT ALL, so it's more the threat - drive the price down and we may step in and start buying (in the manner outlined above). Doing this is meant to deter pure spec shorters...
