Thin and Terrific

It's starting to look like a lawyer analysing wordings in a contract. Still waiting for a call back from CN though.

Now the word "TERRIFIC". It depends on exactly "when" CN said that to NAV. If she said that before they knew about the thin sands (the "thin" sand comment could be a last minute update to the status as late as Wednesday morning), "TERRIFIC" would probably mean bad news, as they were probably hoping for thick sands; however, if that was said after they knew about it, then it would probably mean that they were already drilling into the next zone and already had indications of better sands and "terrific" would be really good news.

As for the word "thin", well, that's very judgemental, 1 mtr, 10 mtrs, your guess, and if that was right at the top, that would probably mean that it's not relevant, although thicker would be better; again when was this known? If it was status updated right up to date on Wednesday, that probably would mean bad news as it would be approaching the 4400 to 5000 mtr zone.

Another thing that is odd is this. Both Sunbird and FAN are classified as tight wells, the analysis and confirmation of data of both wells seem to require eternity as compared to Phoenix just matter of weeks. Not to mention also that the Pheonix news were plastered all over all major papers and the net.
I really question the usefulness of a company agreeing to "tight wells", although there's probably not much FAR can do about it if it was really wanting a $ partner.

Why are they still at FAN 1? That could be a clue.

PS The SP seems to have stablised above .05 which is probably a good sign!
