IMO can't beat a stove top peculator for real espresso coffee. Simple to use and relatively cheap, Cast alli ones are cheaper but Stainless steel one are better
Watso, paper filters is to filter out fine grains of the ground coffee. Coffee beans are ground to either coarse medium for fine grind depending on what coffee machine you use
