tues 2nd sept
it would make it more interesting if a few more would join in and discuss their trades - it all helps I think to put it out there ....
so updating from Saturday I now have
longs - FET, IAG, RCG , WEB, TGA + MML .....
Its all very good, with huge demand for FET and a consequent big jump in its SP
MMG - very under priced gold stock imo was the new addition- just a small amount for this type of stock....
shorts - holding - MYR & TTS
HVN - stopped out after the company announced an unexpected huge gain in its FY profits, with a loss...
FMG - closed out with a medium to good profit....... could have made a bit more today if I had sold at the right time.......
but golly its price movement during just one day needs to be watched - you can be in and out of the money so very quickly..
Australia cash 200, china H shares - in and out of these very quickly as i sensed an adverse direction in the Australian market .....just a very tiny loss with these....
MYR - still waiting for FY results to come out in mid September ...... I am much less confident now .......as mentioned previously I closed out a third portion of my holding at loss........however i have now opened up another small short position at a higher price again -- with mower not around jongo is going to be right in my ear about this ........ the thing is that I am now just one cent away from my stop loss level for the earlier shorts....... some tactics here to be figured out as how to come out of this with possibly minimal losses ..... of cause if I ride the current upward momentum of the stock I might find that by mid September there will be a totally different scenario in the markets, and also MYR might in fact come out with a lesser result than expected by the current price movement of the stock ......... the amount of money involved here is nothing like the previous episode ...
cheers all GK...
