You are almost certainly right on the money regarding the employee option shares having a negative impact on the sp.
Once the employee elects to exercise the option he/she invokes a tax liability between the option issue price and the market price. You can reasonably assume the employees involved will either (a) sell the shares to simply take profit or more likely (b) sell (some) shares to cover their tax liability.
You will not see the subject shares "hit" the market as no doubt a broker will have done a deal with companies employees to manage the sale on their behalf.
My advice (and don't forget that free advice is worth what you pay for it........), forget this short term selling that is taking place as per above and look 12 months forward.
All things being equal my 2014/2015 eps is $1.01 and a 12 month target price of around $13.50 - $14.50
