I would just like confirmation that the $10m Rights Issue to Shareholders will be fully underwritten.
Today's announcement states that - Empire will raise a "maximum" of $17.5 m.....
What happens if the shareholders do not fully subscribe to the $10m?
Do we live with a shortfall like in the bad old days ?
ERM will put in $2m (20%) Other shareholders? Who knows. It will cost us around $1400 for every 1 million we hold.
I dont see how the overall strategy as presented can work properly unless the issue is fully underwritten and all the cash is raised.
Yes Harry we are all likely to be diluted but better than not having enough cash!
PS I think they will also consolidate with a 1 for 10 or similar as part of the forthcoming capital raising.
