I have never questioned what CDU have done is good for the QLD economy , its good for Cloncurry and its good for all those employed , employees , contractors and external companies benefiting from Rocklands mining. What has been questioned here is the benefit to shareholders most except ROH are well underwater on their investment and most would have been better leaving their cash in bank for the last 6 years - Those who have never been in the stock can buy some now for $1.67 - the Johhny come latelys are milles in front of the patient long term investors.

If I was a worker at Rocklands I would be pretty confident of continued employment - Im not so confident about seeing any dividends certainly not anytime in the next 3 years.
