The market is seldom right, hence the basis for investors like Soros and Buffett making extraordinary returns. When the prices (versus value) are irrationally low, you buy and when irrationally high, you sell. The hard part is working out when that situation exists. At the end of the day, the market represents a group of investors current/future perceptions of reality - not actual reality! Identifying value which is mispriced by the market is where you can make a killing. Hopefully, this is one such instance...
