a couple of points (3 actually):
1. Freeport were aware of the farmin by plains and approved it as part of the takeover
2. Freeport has signed commitments to rig operator and govt to drill 2 firm wells. they wont walk before honouring these commitments
3. if first well fails, there are different plays to chase in the block for the second (which is why the farmed in for 2 wells in the first place).
