re the return of funds, my recollections are different to yours.
When asked about the intention of the board, the chair said that the bonus to be paid to the previous MD was couched in terms of 'the funds that will be eligible to be returned to shareholders'.
I thought it was implicit that they intended to return the proceeds.
Anyway, time will tell.
