Hi all.
Yes the announcement was disastrous in its presentation but not in the material value.
Anyone game enough to trade could have done well.
I did get the chance to lower my average amongst the panic.
Still keen on buying at these levels but I think most have digested the announcement and the panic is over.
It would be nice to see management take some lessons in presentation.
My view of the gold price is, dropping to $1000 or thereabouts before recovering but there is nothing immediate that will see pog strengthening, even extreme left wing events. AUD will slide hopefully to 80 cents which is a positive for fund repatriation.
The same 3 necessities still apply, refinance, recoveries and minelife.
Until we get that I am afraid anyone could guess where the price of this share is going and be correct.
My view is also still positive but management needs to navigate the refinancing cautiously.
