My point was that if you throw all the good apples out of the barrel you are left with a lot of rotten fruit that we the public have already paid for
Unless you keep the good ones you have no core with which to rebuild the ABC and there will be no option but to close it, and it is potentially too good to throw away
The only thing stopping the ABC from being great again is the will of the politicians and bureaucrats to face up to the problem, they are the only ones with the power to fix it
But as per normal, politicians do not actually do anything
