Its a shame that because of a few selfish self indulgent individuals have now bought a lot of pain to a proud club with a long history of success. I will never understand why Hird chose to challenge a so called abuse of process but seemed to have no defence concerning the administering of illegal substances to players. I don't follow Essendon but can only hope he is relieved of his coaching duties from this moment on. The judgement handed down by the court is not a good look for the Hirds, which in turn flows onto the footy club.
