insaf, this is Australia not the Middle East, police don't expect people to come to an interview armed. Sadly however,
that may well change as we slip into another stage of fear and self protection
The day may yet come when our police stations are sandbagged and have check points, I sincerely hope that day never arrives, but who would have said 30 years ago that we would have to remove our shoes ,belts,drinks and have x rays before getting on a plane
