The wet season fast approaches, going by last years shut down, not a huge amount of mining seems likely until the weather and roads improve in March.
The Tanami Road is also reputed to be one of the worst roads in NT.
The NT Government will no doubt be asking for big contributions and safety restrictions before permitting its use by ore trucks.
