I agree that the issue has been horribly communicated, and that Gore was the worst thing that ever happened with communicating the science as it turned the science into a pollitical pick-a-side. You have to realise that scientists are not communicators, in fact not many are very good communicators in general. They certainly don't have the reach or power of conservative media.
