True. Australians have nothing to protect what is left of the freedoms we have left. Our society no longer feels as relaxed, happy and free as it was in my youth. We had a lot of give and take, but now the country has been placed in an ever tightening noose of bureaucracy and accompanying set protocols which 'must be' stringently adhered to regardless of common sense.
Same goes for the USA as their constitution has been shredded since 9/11 and the remaining shreds are on the way out too.
