It's generally the weak economy that we have experienced in Oz for the past 4-5 years that has been the root cause; and it continues. A lower A$ is still needed to restore equilibrium and re-invigorate real (not realty btw) investment. Those who have lived in certain parts of Sydney with real estate price growth have been falsely cocooned. It's been tough outside I can tell you, and I live in a provincial area of NSW that is far superior to Syd in so many ways.
Anyway, the real growth with settling commodity prices and a lower A$ has to be certain miners and explorers. Real potential there. Forget the real estate market. It's stuffed!
