I find the parading of scantily clad young emaciated females on catwalks and even on our television advertisements to be extremely demeaning of women. But no-one questions such practices. The wearing of hideous wigs by our legal fraternity to remind us of our oppressive colonial past does nothing whatsoever for me but the practice is never challenged. As for the cracks revealed by tradies' shorts, .....
So, I suggest to you that for reasons best known to them, many people wear clothing others find quite offensive. Yet in our pseudo-democracy we permit and we tolerate!
