I read that report prior to the paywall a few years back, and your right, it was good.
Joe, I think keeping a modest local manufacturing/servicing capability is essential, even if it runs at a loss. You cannot put a price comparison between a company that is out of stock and can't help you until the next container arrives, and one that knuckles down and solves your problem in a day or two locally.
