Well, it depends. If you mean it is a waste of time if you make several hundred dollars on an IPO because of a severe scale back then I agree.
But always worth applying if you like the stag opportunity because sometimes you get lucky and get a good allocation. We are spending a lot of time on this game and should try and maximise opportunities whenever you can.
