Chaps,
Its the Labour Day holiday in NSW today, so half the Aussie market is off today - just providing a good opportunity for shorters and institutions to shake out retail investors..
It would be a pity if LNG abandoned FL in my view, but I'm sure this switched-on management team would only do so on careful consideration of the pros & cons. I don't think FL going ahead is factored in the current share price or even the share price when at $4.50.
Better still, I reckon that LNG are trying to do another type of deal with the Gladstone Port Authority - like buy the site instead of having to lease it and go cap in hand to them all the time.
I think today is just a good buying opportunity.
I'll be very surprised if we are not a long way north of $4.50 by Xmas. MB & RB were very confident & relaxed at the presentations and indicated there will be more positive announcements this year.
