News: Tungsten Mining confirms high grade tungsten continuity at Kilba, Western Australia

  1. Tungsten Mining's (ASX:TGN) drilling continues to intersect high-grade tungsten mineralisation at its Kilba Project in the Gascoyne Region of Western Australia.

During August and September 2014, TGN drilled 53 reverse circulation holes for 4,304 metres, with assays including 14 metres at 0.82% tungsten, and 15 metres at 0.76% tungsten, amongst others.

Completion of infill drilling to a 40 metre spacing is planned at Zones 8 and 11 in the December quarter.

In May 2013, TGN defined an Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resource at Zone 8 and Zone 11 of the Kilba project.

This comprised an Indicated Resource of 1.3 million tonnes at 0.3% tungsten and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 3.7 million tonnes at 0.26% for a total of 5 Million tonnes at 0.27% tungsten.

The infill drilling program is being undertaken to increase the confidence level of the Kilba Mineral Resource at Zones 8 and 11 to an Indicated status in support of formal feasibility studies commencing in the December quarter.

Geological mapping and UV lamping has identified extensions to Zone 12; plotting of mapping completed in September is still proceeding and will assist target generation.

The next stage of drilling, which is in progress, will allow an update of the JORC Mineral Resource to be completed by the end of the year.
