ausheds firstly 'sophisticated investors' do not always get it right and the extent of the big ASX sell off on the back of the fall in the $AU caught even the most experienced investors by surprise (if you subscribe look at Marcus Today's morning report). Secondly, institutional investors have the capacity to make money by manipulation because they have large volumes of shares at their disposal. It's impossible to examine the trades on VXL without spotting the manipulation, right now I'm seeing an order for 500 VXL shares at .655, that's the highest offer. That order is worth about $320 and not a marketable quantity, which is exactly why it is there. In small steps we are going to see the VXL share price manipulated over .70 but what happens after the manipulation stops and some holders have bought their additional shares is the big question?
