It is hard to believe that, in the Spanish case, the nurse who became ill was admitted to hospital - then put in isolation but only after four days, when Ebola was confirmed. That is high risk for other patients and staff, during those four days. And they knew she had been nursing a patient with Ebola, a Spanish priest who had been brought back from Africa, and who died in a Madrid hospital.
It looks as if the spread of the disease outside of Africa is inevitable, and is the next stage.
