I agree with most of your post, but i feel we are too pedantic about being exposed to the general day to day bacteria ( IE sanitize this sanitize that anti bacterial every bloody thing), that we will weaken our immune system's to the point that when some thing pops its ugly head up our systems have forgotten how to react.
I have spent lots of time in Asia,India included , most of my friends would die if they had to try live in the conditions that these countries do.
My ex Australian wife begged me to take her on a business trip to China , So i did. she enjoyed the cities but when we traveled out of town she nilly died. I loved it an relished in the diversity of the people and how they survived .
