I the end I don't think the current account does matter. What does matter is that the Australian government should not see it as a problem and restrict international capital flows by the use of review boards and tariffs because then you will see a massive outflow of funds, a collapse of the dollar and investment grind to halt not to mention retaliation by other nations where we sell our goods. This what causes depressions.
