$1.7mn in the kitty as at 30th June 2014. Cash burn of ~$1.1mn per quarter. One quarter plus half a month down since 30th June. The company has probably used up $1.3mn since 30th June 2014. Possible cash on hand on Monday 13th Oct 2014 might be $400k. Barely sufficient to run the show for another month.
Nothing drastically new in today's announcements. Similar HCV/HIV related announcements were made on 14/12/12 then again on 19/03/13; then at various different times in 2013 and 2014.
We are still to witness Stage 3 clinical trials and then onwards to final FDA approval. Many months between here to commercialisation.
No doubt this company has a great product - in the pipeline
IMHO; "Trading Halt+CR announcement" could happen well before a "Big Pharma announcement". Maybe coinciding around Melbourne cup day when everyone is excited about the races !!
