Interesting that you mention $2.60 carpy. A fellow LNG investor mate said that $2.60 could be critical also, but for different reasons. His argument is that the last capital raising, i.e. the last entry point for some of the big instos, would be critical support because if, as we assume, this is a heggie driven shorting exercise, then they would likely not want it to go too far below their last entry point for too long. The last capital raising was $2.60.
It's an interesting viewpoint, and one he gave me this morning prior to todays action.
He also topped up late today.
LNG remains the best risk/reward option in town.
