However at the reported average number of patches per procedure being 3 (source unknown but read it here in HC so it must be true) the annual no of patches per facility could range between 175 to ? with an average of 500 per year.

Based on these (quite likely inaccurate) figures, the current facilities using cardiocel (20) will require approx. 10 000 patches, which is quite within our manufacturing capability (currently reported at 20 000 pa, increasing to 40 000 with increase in staffing).

the production rate of 100 000 patches Per year is a 5 year target, which should be enough for 200 hospitals - not much more than the 150 centre target in the same timeframe.

But, by that time (2018) the company has reported hoping to have increased it product line to include orthopaedic procedures (having added valve repairs, pelvic floor and hernia repairs and vascular repairs in the next 4 years - again read it on HC).

Opening another facility is more then likely going to be a necessity.

Gonna need a bigger boat!
