So odd when some people believe the power of forums to change a share price.

ILR - this isn't all about you although I have done it as a reply to your post.

Treat a forum as a place where you can get and pass on thoughts and information actually researching and contributing and get rid of the " I must protect my stock" " I mustn't comment on any negatives" " I must talk it up" " I must make excuses" " i must challenge anythung negative" attitude and you may be amazed of the rewards a forum can actually deliver.

When I see threads of people out protecting price or share I treat it as a warning sign as mostly the participants are blinded by their belief in the company and can be totally sheep mentality to never actually seeing the trees for the woods . Oh yeah I get it that you in your private investment bubble consider all points and opinions and you know it all in regards to the negatives but on a stock forum you don't want anyone to know. It is a laughable situation and unless you explore all aspects of a company , its products and the way it is managed you are investing with one hand behind your back and a blindfold. Think of the spin and spiel you see some companies put out and if it wasn't for posters on the ground , industry experience and worldly experience who can tell us it is a load of crap positives or downsides we would be blind and never consider those possibilities.

I just don't get why some posters try and influence other posters to not provide a opinion as they believe it will actually change the value of their investment when in reality they are a minor share holder and comments are read by a small number. If you want a forum to be productive , sure ask questions but read all sides of the argument but always understand that 80% are going to be positive and reassuring as that is human nature always to look for the bright side.

Reality is actions of the company.
