There are 2 shots from the gun that are cheap and can see OBL reaching 100% of the Derby block
1st shot is SAT and OBL have paid about 50K and max 100K to get a rerating. This seems a cheap way of getting a rerating. The longer it goes could be a good thing for OBL ie not getting thrown out straight away. Who knows what the answer will be? OBL are in there with a shot.
2nd shot is the district court for non payment of BOPL's obligations. OBL paying 100% of Derby Block and BRU not prepared to pay anything for BOPL. Could see this heard early November. The cost of this is also cheap considering a rerating.
I believe BRU wanted operatorship and because OBL have operatorship and are meeting their obligations BRU have left BOPL high and dry.
So OBL are in a great position because they are funded. As usual we wait and people are impatient. The prize is a big one.
For the sceptics and if OBL shoot blanks, the negotiating table will still give OBL a very favourable outcome if needed.
