Has ebola gone airborne?, page-15

Is anybody else amazed that the nurse assigned to take Thomas Duncan's temp twice a day while wearing full protective gear has contracted Ebola yet the people who shared a flat with him while he was symptomatic have, so far, not shown symptoms?

What the hell does that mean???

I heard it suggested that maybe some people were less susceptible to Ebola depending on their heritage, given that Ebola has been around Africa for quite some time... and who knows if there's ever been a widespread outbreak there before... or a related version of plague? That could offer some protection. BUT if that's true then we really have no idea who this would take off in other countries... The spread in Africa would not be an adequate model to go off...
