I beg to differ with you supposition that Springtree deal was good for our SP. Looking at the chart in your post, there is a glaring mistake... the early termination of the Springtree deal was announced in Jan 2011. So between the announcement of the funding deal and the announcement of the termination in Jan. sees the SP falling consistently and only recovering once the termination was announced.
