    re: transport runs first Surely it depends on what causes the bubble to burst, doesn't it.

    Perhaps it could be a result of fall in general consumption. If consumption falls then oil used in manufacturing will fall. Oil used to make plastics and other chemicals and components etc.
    If consumpton falls then demand for logistics services / trucks to carry product will fall.
    If demand for logistics services falls then transport does not do too well as a result of oil falling.

    It sure is a very complicated cycle
