Funny debate this so I've posted under the first banner.
One's attitude to R/E MUST vary widely dependant on your thoughts of the future.
If you;
believe a '30 type depression is coming, then mortages will be toxic.
believe in spiralling inflation then borrow to the hilt!
believe in the "muddle through" scenario, then R/E will be like stocks. Choose carefully.
